Ladies and gentlemen:

Welcome to our school. I’m very honored to introduce our school to you. This school is a newly built one, which is very big, beautiful and modern. There are about over 3800 teachers and students studying and living in this school. Around it there is a river and behind it there is a wide street. On its west lies a highway and on the east are some cottages of farmers. Our school stands at a good place, so it’s convenient for us to go home or go shopping.

When you enter the school through the front door, you can see a large square with a big garden in its centre first. Behind it is the lab building where students can do various experiments, study computer science and so on .The teaching buildings are on the right of the square, on the left of it is the playground where students can do different kinds of outdoor activities just like playing basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis and so on .The English corner lies to the northwest of the playground .In front of the teaching buildings is the office building, on the right of which is the auditorium. Behind it stands the library. On the east are the students’ dormitory buildings with a long river around them. Maybe you are hungry now, let’s go to have lunch in the dining hall which is a two-storied building in the north of our school, which is next to the back door.

There are so many trees, flowers and many areas of grass. You can see green everywhere, so it is a good place to study and also a very comfortable place for students to live in.
